FCRA:(Foreign Contribution Regulation Act,2010)
- FCRA, 2010 has been enacted by the Parliament to consolidate the law to regulate the acceptance and utilization of foreign contribution or foreign hospitality by certain individuals or associations or companies and to prohibit acceptance and utilization of foreign contribution or foreign hospitality for any activities detrimental to national interest and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
- FCRA comes under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
- An FCRA license is mandatory for non-profit organizations and voluntary organizations to receive foreign funds.
- FCRA online is an e-governance initiative by the Ministry of Home Affairs to provide a smart, citizen-centric & transparent mechanism for citizens and organizations to avail various services related to FCRA and Foreign Hospitality
